Article Preparation Guidelines

General Information

All submitted manuscripts must be original and not under consideration for publication elsewhere. Articles should adhere to ethical standards and include a similarity report from plagiarism detection software (Turnitin, iThenticate, etc.).

Manuscript Length: Articles should range between 4,000 and 8,000 words, including references, tables, and figures.

Manuscript Structure

  1. Title Page (Separate Document):

    • Article title (concise and descriptive).
    • Author names and affiliations.
    • Corresponding author’s contact information.
  2. Main Document:

    • Title: Centered, bold, and in title case (e.g., Advances in Genetic Engineering for Sustainable Healthcare).
    • Abstract: A maximum of 250 words summarizing the research aims, methods, findings, and significance.
    • Keywords: 3–7 relevant terms for indexing purposes.
    • Main Sections:

Submission Process

Submissions must be made via the IJIMAS online submission system: www.ijimas.com. Authors must register, log in, and follow a five-step process to upload their manuscripts and supplementary documents:

  1. Manuscript file (Word format).
  2. Copyright Release and Journal Publishing Agreement signed by all authors.
  3. Similarity report from plagiarism detection software.
  4. Ethical approval documentation (if required).
  5. Biographical note (max. 100 words per author).

Authors can monitor the status of their submissions through the online portal and will receive notifications of updates via email.

Peer Review and Editorial Policies

All manuscripts undergo a rigorous double-blind peer review process. At least two external reviewers evaluate submissions for originality, relevance, and scientific merit. The Editor-in-Chief makes the final decision based on reviewer recommendations.

IJIMAS adheres to the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE) guidelines to ensure ethical publishing practices.

Ethical Standards

All research involving human or animal subjects must comply with ethical standards such as the Declaration of Helsinki and EU Directive 2010/63/EU. Studies involving humans require ethics committee approval, and approval numbers must be included in the manuscript.
